Arnold Vanko is the son of Sir Marklin Vanko and the head of House Vanko. Thrust into conflict and warfare from a young age, Arnold served as a squire to his father during the Skycutter Conflict. At the end of the war he was taken as ward to his father's killer Alec Kylar, forced to forsake his nobility and inheritance for a duration of life.

A longtime companion and lover of Brienne, the inseparable duo became trusted associates of the Rune Rogues. Through countless quests and missions Arnold became a valiant warrior in the face of danger. Arnold is also a trusted confidant of Warren Corbray, a childhood friend. He holds an extremely complicated relationship with his master and guardian Alec Kylar.

Character and Appearance

Arnold is a lean, blond, handsome youth who seems to find everything fascinating. He is known for his confidence and his cocky smile. He can be promiscuous and vain, but behind his arrogant exterior hides insecurities relating to his uncertain familial and social identity. Arnold seeks approval from Alec and the Rune Rogues, but usually feels unsatisfied; in rare moments, he and Alec will have moments of prosperity in their relationship.
